Miguna vows to return home

Self-proclaimed outlawed NRM general Miguna Miguna is in Toronto, Canada, following his deportation last night for allegedly being in Kenya illegally and contrary to national interest.

Miguna who was arrested last Friday and had been incarcerated until last night, declined to take plea for allegedly overseeing the oathing of NASA leader Raila Odinga as the People’s President last Tuesday.

Miguna has now vowed to start a battle to return to Kenya as soon as possible.

Interior CS Fred Matiangi has defended the move to deport Miguna, saying he ceased to be a Kenyan citizen when he acquired a Canadia passport in 1988.

This comes after High Court Judge Luka Kimaru ordered IG Joseph Boinnet and DCI boss George Kinoti to appear in court in person next Wednesday, to show cause why they cannot be punished for contempt of court, after failing to appear in court or produce Miguna.
