Four out of five Kenyans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction, this is according to a survey done by IPSOS Synnovate.
According to the survey done between October 14 and October 22, 90 per cent of NASA supporters believe the country is headed in the wrong direction as compared to 72 per cent of Jubilee supporters.
Most of those who believe the country is headed in the wrong direction site cost of living and leadership crisis as the main reason.
According to the survey, 72 per cent of Kenyans report their household economic conditions have worsened as opposed to 8 per cent who say it has improved.
A large percentage of Kenyans 44 per cent want the incoming government to focus on job creation and reducing the cost of living, while infrastructure development and fighting corruption is also mentioned.
